Stock Market Investment made Easy

What do you know about the stock market?  If you don't have a finance degree then I'm sure you have never heard of it.  For those who are fans of Leonardo de Caprio and have watched his movie The Wolf of Wallstreet then maybe you have some idea. Basically there is a great potential of money making in stock market investment.

Investment in stock market is very lucrative, it generates more earnings than bank deposits. For every stock that you own, the companies declares yearly dividends and your share in the declared dividends is directly proportionate to the amount of stocks that you own, which also form part of your earnings.

You can grow your money fast or gradually depending what kind of investor you are. If you prefer to grow your money in a short amount of time, then you would be classified as a stock trader, while for those who want to grow their portfolio gradually they are classified as stock investor/long term investor. For traders they usually monitor the stock market constantly and buy and sell shares of stocks by the hour or day, the longest trade would be a week and for the long term stock investors they hold stocks for months even years.

But what about for those people who want to get into stock market investment but don't have the knowledge on how to go about it, what do they do? Well, I happen to know of someone who made his house help invest in stock market with the little salary that they have and now his house help will retire at the age of 40 to 50 y.o. as a millionaire. He is no other than Brother Bo Sanches.

Bro. Bo have this advocacy of helping those who want to get more out of life by giving financial advice and spiritual advice as well. I've been a subscriber of Bro. Bo for years now and his advice in what stocks to buy and sell have really helped me grow my portfolio. If you have no clue on what to do, Bro. Bo. will do the analysing and market research for you and recommend sound stocks for you to buy or sell. See BRO. BO SITE to learn more about stocks and get started. Happy Investing!

Current Kindle Reads: Romance Novels

For the last weekend, I had little to no Internet connection which gave me the time to catch up on some reading. A co-worker of mine emailed me copies of some romance novels she liked and I decided to give them a look. I did nothing but sleep, eat and read for the whole weekend and I finished them all four books. All of the books were great, I really enjoyed it and I've listed them down below.

Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett thought she knew exactly where her life was going. But after a wild night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she shocks everyone-including herself-when she decides to leave the only life she's ever known and set out on her own. Grabbing her purse and her cell phone, Camryn boards a Greyhound bus ready to find herself. Instead, she finds Andrew Parrish.

Sexy and exciting, Andrew lives life like there is no tomorrow. He persuades Camryn to do things she never thought she would and shows her how to give in to her deepest, most forbidden desires. Soon he becomes the center of her daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But there is more to Andrew than Camryn realizes. Will his secret push them inseparably together-or destroy them forever?
Mixed martial arts fighter Reid Andrews’s chance to reclaim his title as light heavyweight champ is shattered when he’s injured only months before the rematch. To make sure he’s healed in time, his trainer sends him to recuperate under a professional’s care—Reid’s best friend’s little sister, all grown up.

Disorganized and bookish Lucie Miller needs some professional help of her own. She’d do anything to catch the eye of a doctor she’s crushed on for years, so when Reid offers seduction lessons in exchange for 24/7 conditioning for the biggest fight of his career, Lucie jumps at the chance.

Soon Reid finds him himself in the fight of his life...winning Lucie's heart before she gives it to someone else
When Grace Sheridan returns to Los Angeles to become a working actor, it's a second shot at a life-long dream. With some help from her best friend and agent, that dream could become a reality, but at thirty-three, has Grace missed her chance at the big time? Will an unexpected sizzling romance with the entertainment industry's newest 'it' boy shine an uncomfortable spotlight on her life? Alice Clayton spins a playful and erotic May to December romance in this, her debut novel. Clayton's funny, borderline neurotic heroine is perfect in her imperfections, and the off the charts sexual chemistry between her and her charming, yet blissfully unaware leading man are the true heart of The Unidentified Redhead. With laugh out loud dialogue and a super steamy romance that will get your heart racing, sneaking around in L.A. and dodging the Paparazzi has never been so fun.

Seventeen-year-old Bianca Piper is cynical and loyal, and she doesn’t think she’s the prettiest of her friends by a long shot. She’s also way too smart to fall for the charms of man-slut and slimy school hottie Wesley Rush. In fact, Bianca hates him. And when he nicknames her “the Duff,” she throws her Coke in his face.

But things aren’t so great at home right now, and Bianca is desperate for a distraction. She ends up kissing Wesley. Worse, she likes it. Eager for escape, Bianca throws herself into a closeted enemies-with-benefits relationship with him.

Until it all goes horribly awry. It turns out Wesley isn’t such a bad listener, and his life is pretty screwed up, too. Suddenly Bianca realizes with absolute horror that she’s falling for the guy she thought she hated more than anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed these books. These books contain my kind of humor, explicitly narrated romantic scenes but not to the point of being offensive, and a very well written story line.  There were twists in the story line that I never expected and I found that  in all these books, the part that I enjoyed the most are the flirting and bantering of the characters. The flow of humor there is just perfect, I spent the whole weekend smiling like lunatic by myself whilst reading. These books are perfect when you just need to feel good and they are pretty much very easy reads. They are however not fit for minors but if you're of age then I think you can appreciate these books.

Current Anime Favorites

It has been a while since I put up a post, I have been MIA for sometime because I was swamped with work. I have also been working on my property acquisition and sorting out the mortgage and stuff so yeah! It has been a busy couple of weeks.

I did manage to squeeze in reading and quite a few romance novels on my kindle and watch some anime. For now here are my current anime recommendation, hope you like them as much as I did.

Kuroko no Basket
Kuroko is a member from the legendary middle school basketball team known as "The Generation of Miracles", and while nobody seems to know about him, the main 5 players of the team all admit that he is a better player. When he joins the high school basketball team, everyone is surprised to find out that he is small, weak, and easy to miss. What is the secret that makes him so strong, and how will he help his high school team?
I loved the anime SlamDunk with Sakuragi and Rukawa fighting to best each other in basketball back when I was still high school and when I read the Kuroko no Basket manga I was so hooked. I was so excited when I found out they made into an anime. This is definitely a step up from the SlamDunk in terms of animation. The storyline is also interesting because the main character Kuroko has a unique talent that you won't normally think is important in a basketball game. Kuroko is guy in the center of the photo by the way and his physical constitution is definitely not like the other players. I could go on and on about this anime but its better if you watch if for yourself. The characters are definitely interesting and the guys are all bishies. This anime is still ongoing but this is a great one to follow.

Chihayafuru
Chihaya is a lighthearted tomboy, who's not especially good at anything in particular. Her dream has always been for her sister (an aspiring model) to become the number one beauty of Japan, or perhaps of the world. But then one day she meets someone who tells her that a dream is something that should concern only herself - and something she has to work hard for as well. At the same time, Chihaya discovers a passion for the old Japanese game hyakunin ishhu, also called "karuta".
Reading from the anime description, you may think that this anime is only so so, but watch the first two episodes and I'm sure you will love it. At first I was like, what the heck is this "karuta" but the anime really interpreted the rules of the game well and it somehow became really interesting. The main character Chihaya Ayase, a girl was introduced to this game by her friends in middle school Arata and Taichi. Arata, who was the grandson of a karuta master was so passionate about the game that he influenced Ayase in giving karuta a try. They played one game and from then on Ayase was obsessed. This anime is still ongoing and they are now on their second season. I really love the storyline of this anime and I felt that the characters developed nicely along the way. There is a bit of romance here but mostly the focus is on the karuta.

So until next time and remember anime are not only for kids but its for everybody =)

January 2013 Favorites: Beauty and Random Stuff

January is over and you know what that means. It's time to round-up all of my favorites whether its beauty, fashion or any other random stuff. So lets begin...

Beauty
ELF Blush and Bronzer Duo
Swatched
I was a bit lazy this January, it seems that I was always rushing and I don't have enough time to get ready in the morning. When that happens, I could not be bothered to faff around with different eye shadows.  I just need to add some color to my face to not look like a zombie and head out of the door.

This duo was what saved me in those times. I use the bronzer as all over the lid wash of color and contour, then I apply some eye liner and mascara, light dusting of blush, and finally a bright lipstick.
MakeupbyToni Blending Brush
This brush is perfect for concealer application under the eyes and over spots.

Fashion

Mango colored jeans

Gadgets

Kindle Fire HD ("Kay")
Whenever I got nothing to do, I'm always on my kindle reading or surfing the web. I'll be bored to death without it. I'm still finishing up the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan.

Ipod Nano 6th Gen ("Irene") with Lunatik LYNK
I always listen to my Ipod when I'm riding transportation, waiting for someone or just shopping around alone. It entertains me and it's so convenient now that I can wear it as now wrist watch. My favorite music at the moment is Rhianna's Diamond.

Movie

Silver linings Playbook. A sweet but sad story about bi-polar lovers, starring my favorite actress Jeniffer Lawrence. When I saw this movie, I said to myself, wow that girl can sure act. I love her!

DIY: Sweet Inexpensive Gift for any Occasion

I saw Luise of Sprinkleofglitter blog post of this project, quiet sometime ago, and I took note of it because I thought it was such a great idea. Luise I'm copying you, I hope you don't mind.  It was such a sweet project perfect for gift giving.
Just a disclaimer, I am not an expert in arts and crafts but I really do try to be creative. So don’t judge! Over the years, I have accumulated a bunch of interesting photos of me and my boyfriend doing silly faces and a lot of couple shots, then one time I was feeling a bit narcissistic and I thought this would make a nice gift for our 7th year anniversary this coming December 20th.  I had the pictures,  I have the time to do this project, and I just thought why not give it a go.

So Here is what I did:
I got a huge poster frame at national bookstore. This frame was no more than Php 300.
I took the card board inside the frame and covered it with a Christmas wrapper.

Printed the pictures into different sizes and arranged them on the board.
Stuck them onto the board with a tape. I used a tape instead of glue because it is easier to remove and transfer when you make adjustments.

Printed out words that I want to put at the side of the frame and the date Dec 2012.
Assembled the frame and wrote a little note to Sting saying that for his Christmas gift we will go shopping and dinner, on me. For this year he gets to choose his gift and we'll buy it together.
I also made one for my cousin Monster. Her birthday is on the 30th of December and I decided to collage a picture of her and her cute babies. I added a bunch of stickers to make the collage more fun and in her card I also attached a photo of her babies playing together.

I really enjoyed making this project and I hope that Sting and Monster will like it. I think that this gift is really personalized, thoughtful, sweet and inexpensive perfect for those who are on a budget like me. I just think that pictures especially of your loved ones are so precious and that this gift would be like a remembrance of those times that you spent together.

Booked: Current Kindle Reads

Ever since I got my kindle, I was totally excited and happy that I spend most of my free time reading books on it. In fact I've already finished two books and I'm about half way through my 3rd book.

I downloaded the whole Percy Jackson series because I was always been fascinated with the Greek Gods and Goddesses and I saw the movie before and it made me really want to read the books. As usual the book was so much better than the movie which is why I always want to read the books first before seeing the movie. There were so many important parts that were not included in the movie which was somewhat disappointing but that how it goes usually. This book was so so good! I love reading it with my kindle because whenever I encountered a word that I don't know I can immediately look it up just by touching that word for about 2 seconds and the dictionary would immediately pop up.

I am a huge house of night fan. I immediately downloaded a copy of this book once I found that it was already out. I really got into reading this book and this booked made me feel really happy and pissed at the same time. I was really into it that it affected me when Erin (the fledgling with water affinity) betrayed her friends. Well, if you followed this series that you will know who I'm talking about. There was a lot of characters changing sides and this book was really all about the Aurox (the bull or beast boy) finding himself.  In the end he found out well they all found out that he has Heath's soul through the ancient magic of the Seer stone.  I was happy of course that Aurox and Zoey's team defeated the evil Neferet but since Neferet turned immortal I don't think that was the end of her. She did disappear into a million spiders and scattered but I think she will be back to seek revenge. I was glad that this time no body had to die and it seemed that Zoey and the rest of her gang are more aware of how to use their Nyx given gifts.

I've grown up watching anime

You may not know this but, I'm an avid anime fan. I have been since I was 10. My brother got me hooked on it. I remember, it all started from watching Dragon Ball Z, Sailormoon, Ghost fighters and finally to robots like Gundam Wing. I always thought that as I get older, I would grow out of my anime fascination but, I did not. I’m now 26 and I’m still hooked on it, dare I say that I’m even more obsessed with them now.

Now, my brother and I would spend our nights after work and Sunday afternoon catching-up on our latest anime and manga finds. We would coop ourselves up in our room and do nothing but stare at our laptops. We would even do anime marathon on Holidays such as Christmas and the New Years.  Anime became our bonding moment and we siblings are closer than ever.

Anime is fun and very entertaining that’s why people like them especially the kids. Parents however, may be apprehensive because of the mature and violent content that some anime series have. I think parental supervision are really needed for kids under the age of 15. There a lot of good anime which are perfect for kids so parents don’t ban anime in general.

Current Anime and Manga I’m following

Anime
Naruto Shipuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.
he only way to escape is to 'clear' the game. Death in game means actual 'death' ----

The ten thousand who have logged onto the as of yet mysterious game 'Sword Art Online' using their Nerve Gear have been forced into this perilous death game and are trapped inside.

Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'.
He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game ---- 'Aincrad'.

To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying?

Manga

The story revolves around a young girl named Kyouko who went with her childhood friend, Shou, to Tokyo to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. Despite of supporting him, she overhears him dismissing her as boring wallflower. Furious, Kyouko vows to get her revenge to defeat him by entering the entertainment world.

Mana is an ordinary high school student who somehow travels through time to the Sengoku Jidai (the Warring States Period) and encounters Uesugi Masatora, one of the generals. He decides to protect her, while his rival Takeda Shingen targets her. With Mana knowing the outcome of this war, will he change the future?

Booked: Divergent by Veronica Roth

by: Veronica Roth

I was so looking forward to reading this book because this was so hyped up. Elle by Allthatglitters21 did a Gliterature about it and my interest was instantly piqued. So, I went of a mission to find a copy of the book, but it was sold out everywhere.  Finally, after 2 weeks of searching, I found the last copy of Divergent which was somewhat damaged from being smushed in the corner of the best seller section. The bookstore also had many copies of the Insurgent and just to be sure I purchased it in advance to avoid having to hunt for it when I’m done reading Divergent.

The story was really fascinating. It was similar to other dystopian novels I’ve read but, the story line really sucked me in beginning from the first two chapters. Basically the society is made up 5 factions, Amity, Erudite, Candor, Abnegation, and Dauntless. Each factions have attributes or qualities that they uphold. For Amity they believe in keeping peace.  Candor believes in truth and honesty. Erudite believes in knowledge. Abnegation believes in being selfless. Dauntless believes in being brave and courageous.

The story started by showing us how the Abnegation live, since the main female character, Beatrice, was born to this faction. When the children turns 16 they are given this evaluation to determine which faction they are most suitable. Those candidates that have affinity for two or more factions are called Divergent and was deemed dangerous to society. Most of them hide the fact they are divergent for the fear of being pursued by the government.

After the evaluation test, they would hold this choosing ceremony where the children would go up on the stage before everybody and choose which faction they would like to belong to by spilling their blood on a bowl that symbolize each faction. After choosing, they would stay with their chosen faction for the initiation process. Those people who failed the initiation will become factionless and basically become outcast of the society.

"Faction before Family"

Beatrice has qualities that would be suitable for 3 factions namely Erudite, Abnegation, and Dauntless but in the end she chose to become part of the Dauntless faction. From then on the story became really interesting because the Dauntless are known to be really brave and fearless and it shows in their brutal initiation. Candidates are asked to jump on moving trains, jump off a building and even beat each other as part of their training. They went thru many physical and mental struggle for them to come out fearless. The initiation process was ridiculously hard and dangerous that some of the candidates end up dead.

For the most part of the story, it revolved around Beatrice journey in becoming part of the Dauntless faction while hiding her being divergent. There are also bits of romance involved which was nice to balance out the story. But, in this book I did not really grasps why the society was afraid of divergent people and I’m hoping the second book will reveal the reason why. This book was really fun and was a quick read. I read the whole book in one day. I literally can’t put the book down.  It was so interesting to see how the different factions interact with each other and how romance of Beatrice and Four developed.

I totally recommend this book and I can’t wait to read Insurgent.

Booked: Summer Reads

Here are my latest reads for summer of 2012

Excellent novel, it is for those people who likes dystopian society plot, this trilogy would be perfect. I must say this book is really engaging and frustrating at the same time because it always has a cliffhanger ending and I can't wait to read the next book. I'm really looking forward to the 3rd book!

Oh my! 50 shades of Grey is something else. I would say these books are for the adult and mature readers. It contains pretty graphic scenes that are not really appropriate for young readers. It has a nice mix of comedy and love story but it goes hand-in-hand with the adult content of the story. I would say that these books were written so well that your imagination is in HD. I love these books! I heard that a movie is coming soon, that would be something to watch.

Top 3 Summer Movies of 2012

I love going to the movies with my friends especially to the most anticipated blockbuster films. Here are  my top 3 summer movies of 2012.

Top 3 - The Hunger Games
I am a huge huger Games fan, I have read all 3 books twice last 2011 and I have been anxiously waiting for the movie.  I was a little bit disappointed with the movie because my expectations were a bit high since I knew the story by heart and they made some changes in story to make things shorter and compact. But overall the movie made was good and for those people who have not read the book and watched the movie gave it a rating of 8 out of 10. I am biased since I know the book by heart so I give this movie 6.5 out of 10. I can't wait for Catching Fire to come out.

Top 2 - Avengers
Avengers was awesome, they made the transition from the individual story of Thor, Iron Man and Captain America so clear that it would seem that the ending of the movie Captain America was the beginning of Avengers and I loved it. It was super funny as well, I never thought that an action movie would contain so many funny moments (fave part: Hulk beating Loki like a rag doll). Although it has some dragging parts in the beginning of the movie since they were trying to show the connection of events but in the end was full of action. This movie is a good 8.5 for me.

Top 1 - Battleship
My boyfriend and guy friends were looking forward to this movie since we saw the trailer whilst watching the Hunger Games. We made plans to watch this movie together and we absolutely enjoyed this movie. I was not really expecting to like this movie since from the title its looks like a proper guys movie all action and stuff but I really liked it. There was so single boring moment in the movie, it was action packed and it was all around awesome. This is a 10 for me.

Booked: "Matched" by Ally Condie

Matched

I picked-up this book after watching Allthatglitters21 book haul. It was recommended to her by her subscribers and I thought that the book was interesting. The review says that if you like the Hunger Games then you will also like this book since it also has a dystopian setting and it has a little bit of romance. So I paid my local bookstore a visit and I searched for this particular green book and luckily I found it and decided to pick it up since I'm fresh out of books to read and I am huge Hunger Games fan.

Well this book is just what they said, similar to the Hunger Games in terms of dystopian romance setting but I found that it is not as exciting and thrilling as the Hunger Games books. It took me awhile to really get into the story and I did not have the feeling of not wanting to put the book down until about the last 5 chapters of the book. Throughout the book I was waiting for something exciting to happen that would change the destiny of the three main characters namely Cassia, Xander and Ky. Throughout the story I found that the romance build-up was kinda slow for Cassia and Ky and as for Xander, I did not see him exert himself to get Cassia's heart back not until the final 3 chapters.

I am more excited for the second book since things were just beginning to heat up at the end of this book. The story line of this book was really slow for me but overall the author did a somewhat of a detailed picture of the society the book clearly explains the rules of the society and the reader can clearly understood how the society works. I feel that this first book only serves as a background or the stage for all the exciting twist that will happen to Cassia quest in finding Ky in the second book and also to Xander plans in getting Cassia's love back. Well at least that is what I expect for the second book.

For the die hard Hunger Games fans that want action and excitement this book may not live-up to your expectation because of its slow pace. As for me I think I will still pick up the second to verify if my theory is correct that the story line will pick-up in the second book and since I'm also curious as what will Xander do to get the Cassia back. I always find myself rooting for the best friend to end up with the girl.
