Fashion Finds for the Month (June 2013)

I never planned to go clothes shopping this month but I was waiting for Sting to get off from work and as you may know he works as an Engineer in one of the big malls in our city so whilst waiting for him I  decided to look around and I came out with these items.
Blanc Noir Dress from SM
Body hugging printed dress that fits like a glove. I like it because it has sleeves and the length of the dress is not so short that you can see my bum when I bend over.he he I saw this on a mannequin and I just said to my self I need that dress of that mannequin right now.haha Don't mind my legs since the bruises from my allergy has not yet fully disappeared. I'll have to wait until my bruises are gone to wear this dress or any dress for that matter.
Eye Channel Sunnies
Finally found an aviator type sunnies that fits my face.
Sting trying out sunnies for fun.he he
Black Jacket from Folded and Hung
Petplum top from Folded and Hung
Folded and Hung at SM were having a massive clearance sale because they are closing down so everything was 50%. Most of the items were selling like pancakes but I managed to get one reversible jacket for my brother, blue shorts for Sting, and these two items for myself.

Collective Beauty Haul

It has been quite a while since I went out and did some retail therapy, but over the month of May and early June I may have snuck out and bought some beauty stuff. Some of this items are repurchases and some are new items that I want to try out.
Epilin Hair Remover, Mane 'n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner and Elf eye primer and Liner Sealer
I ran out of my favorite hot wax and eye primer so I repurchased them again. Although I usually get the Elf mineral primer in the tube form they only had it on a stick this time. I got to say I really prefer the one in tube because it does not pull on the eyelids one you apply it, but the stick form does the same job but is a little bit rougher.  I also bought the Mane 'n Tale shampoo and conditioner because I heard and read good reviews about it that it helps makes your hair grows faster. I'm trying to grow out my hair so I'm really exited in using them.
Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner Toner
I picked up this new toner from Etude House because I was running low on my Etude House fresh malgem toner and I saw this huge ass of a toner and I said to myself "this toner would go a long way".he he It also claims to have 7 skin benefits. I'm excited and I'll let you know if it does what it claims.
Pinkies Collection Lip Glosses (They don't have names and the codes fell from the packaging)
Just before we went on our Palawan holiday, Sting and I were out shopping for his summer clothes and he was kind enough to get me these lip glosses from Pinkies Collection. They are so pigmented and those swatches were just one swipe and they leave a stain on your lips after some time. Those were the only lip products I bought with me to Palawan and I got to say, I'm in love with them.
Bifesta water cleansing lotion (Bright Up)
I spotted this when I was browsing in Watson's and it caught my eye. I have been seeing a lot of water cleansers being raved about on YouTube like Bioderma but those are hard to get here in the Philippines so I was curious to try this one. At first I was, how the heck am I gonna read this it's in Japanese. Thankfully the instructions and ingredients were translated in English at the back. I'm really excited to try the Asian version of those cleansing water and I just hope that it won't break me out. Wish me luck!
Etude house collagen moistfull firming eye cream, Celeteque spot corrector, Revlon Colorstay face powder, Elf Mineral Eyelid Primer
I just ran out of my Olay eye cream and I saw the moistfull one at Etude house and decided to give it a try. The Celeteque and Elf primer are repurchases and you can view my review on the Celeteque spot corrector here. I got the Revlon face powder since I don't own any pressed powder for touch-ups during the day and I trust Revlon's face products because I've been using their liquid foundation for years now and they don't break me out.
Yoko Knee and Elbow Whitening Cream, Yoko Underarm Whitening Cream, Herbal Formulas Anti-Scar Gel
This lot was a random buy, I was just bored one day and browsing down the isle of our local department store and spotted these items. I'll try them out and see how they work.
Locido L Heat Protection (Curling Milk)
I don't really curl my hair that much, but I saw that it has a heat protectant property so I bought it. I haven't seen any heat protectant products sold around our local stores and this one is the first.
Watson's Cosmetic Sponges
I'm planning to use these sponges in applying my liquid foundation. I always use my brush and I saw missglamorazzi from YouTube use sponge to apply her Revlon ColorStay foundation and it looked nice so I decided to try it for myself.
Baby Wipes
I'm not really picky with the brand of baby wipes I use, I just make sure that it is unscented. I bought these wipes on different trips to the mall but when I saw that they were on offer, I just could not refuse. I go through these wipes like crazy, I use them everyday to remove my makeup and clean my brushes so whenever they are on sale I usually pick them up.
Watson's mini hankies, Watson's Breath Strips, Mini Giggles wet wipes, Bonus Cebo de Macho
These are my handbag essentials. I decided to restock them and I use the Cebo de Macho for moisturizing any dry area on my body and to lessen or lighten those scars that I have from my boboos.he he

Inexpensive Jewelry Haul

Me and my girlfriends went to our local market to visit Aizylim to get some inexpensive accessories and here is what I got.
These pieces was no more that Php 100 each roughly around $2-$3. I was on a hunt for long necklaces to pair with my plain shirts and I got this colorful one on the left and the double triangle necklace with Aztec design.
I'm really in to statement necklaces right now and those don't come cheap when you buy them at department stores, as you can see I love them triangle necklaces. There were also a lot of skull inspired pieces there that I liked but I limited myself to just picking one item because I don't want to look like the bride of skull boy. If you are ever in Cagayan de Oro, I suggest checking out Aizylim at Cogon market for some inexpensive accessories. Aizylim are the girly girls accessories heaven.

Beauty Haul

I was going home from work and I dropped by Watson's, our local drugstore, to buy one thing and as usual I came out with five.  Lets first take a look at the impulse purchases that I've made, as you can see there is a pink theme going on here.
I was looking around the makeup section of the store and I spotted these pink products with hearts on it and thought to myself, oh its almost Valentine's day and these have hearts and I need them. I don't know what happened, somehow along the way I've convinced myself that I needed to buy them. Thank goodness they were inexpensive, no more than Php200 each or $ 5 each.
4U2 dreamGirl Lovelight BB Powder SPF 15 PA++ in O3

I saw Miss Say purchased this product in one of her Vlogs and I thought I'd try it. The shade is a bit dark for me and I thought this could work as a contour powder.
4U2 dreamGirl Touch Loose Powder in 02 Medium Beige
Again this purchase was because Miss Say recommended this setting powder and I thought this powder was perfect to throw in the purse and touch up during the day since my face is such a grease-ball that I often need to blot and powder.
Nichido Juicy Lips in Pink Champagne
I had to pick this up because I don't have any lipstick color like this one in my collection and it was so cheap around Php 88 or $ 2. Surprisingly it is so moisturizing, it glides on well when you apply it and it feels light on the lips like a lip balm. The pigmentation is a bit sheer but buildable. It definitely makes your lips look juicy which is perfect for the upcoming Valentine's date. *wink... wink...
This one is a repurchase. I was running out of lip balm and I found that these are the best I've tried so far.
And finally you can see here that my main purpose in going to Watson's was to pick up my favorite Nivea deodorant which ironically has also accents of pink. Somebody stop me from buying cute pink things.hehe I'm excited to play around with my new purchases and I'll maybe do an update on how I feel about these products soon. Until next time, bye!

2012 Year End Sales Haul

Okay, I know that one of my New Year Resolution for 2013 is to go on a spending ban on beauty products but I bought these items over the last 2 weeks of the month of December so were still good. ;p
I picked a couple of items from ELF. I got this Duo Cream eyeshadow in Berry Mix to serve makeup base for those neutral smokey eye looks. I also picked up this Elf face powder in Soft Beige as blot powder because I tend to get oily throughout the day.
I then went to Etude House to purchase this Skin Malgem Toner. I specifically went there for this toner because I read reviews that this helps in minimizing pores and lessening acne scars, so I'm really excited to try this out. I also picked up an Etude House angled blending brush becuase the brush set I had was a bit lacking on blending brush and this one was thick and soft, just perfect for blending in the crease. I got the moistful sheet mask as a gift from purchase because my total purchase was over P500.
I had to repuchase my revlon colorstay liquid foundation becuase I ran out of it and so far this foundation has been my go to foundation for years now.
Also picked up this medicine dispenser for my daily meds and compact puff becuase my other one was a bit tattered and dirty.
I was pleasantly surprised that the Watson's in Centrio Mall carry Shawill products and Shawill makes makeup brushes that are reasonably priced and of great quality. I picked-up a couple, an angled blush brush and foundation brush, its great becuase I can use them alternately with my other brushes and I don't have to worry about running out of clean brushes because I have back-ups. I also got an Elf powder or complection brush for applying my loose setting powder.
I also got another bottle of Revlon Top Quik Dry Top Coat becuase I just recently ran out of it. This top coat is great, it makes my nail polish more vibrant and it protects the polish from chipping.

I was not able to resist picking up this Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek "Cherry Maccaroon" blush. First of all, the packaging is absolutely adorable. Who could walk away from this product, I saw it there and I just had to have it.  The blush itself is beautiful, it's a corally pink with a hint of gold shimmer and it just gives you the most beautiful glow. I will however say that you need to use a light hand in applying because it can look a bit clown-like if its overdone.

Well, that's all for my haul and now I'm officially on my beauty spending ban. There may be some hauls here and there but most of it, if not all will be product repurchase.

What I got for Christmas 2012

Sitting by the Christmas tree excited to open some presents.
Got a new turquoise satchel bag from my favorite cousin Monster.
The bag was also stuffed with candies, cookies and chocolates. The treats were presents from my other cousin, Monster' s sister Ate Love and baby Lia.
Got a fresh towel from my mom, she always give us things that we can use around the house.
Got the pink blouse from my Auntie.
Sting gave me an IPod Nano as my Christmas and Anniversary gift.
received this voucher for a Swedish massage at Royal Chateau Spa from my supervisor.

I got this Christmas cupcakes from my friend Mia and she baked these herself. They were delicious and I kinda don't want to eat it at first because it was so cute but, it would be such a waste to not eat it.
Finally, got this exact jacket from my brother since he knows that I' m going to Korea next year and I don' t have any thick jacket in my wardrobe.

I'm not in any means bragging, but I just want to document what I got and show my appreciation to the people who gave  these gifts. I love all of the gifts and I'm gonna treasure and make use of them. So to the people who gave me those gifts, I just want to say thank you for your generosity.

Another Holiday Haul 2012

I was out shopping over the couple for weeks for Christmas presents when I got a little carried away and bought some things for myself. Well, for justification I thought that most of the things are on offer anyway and I really need some of these things that I bought. So Justified? I think it is!hehe

I have been looking for a bandeau for quite sometime now and all I see are those cheap ones that are used on top of a bra. I decided to invest on a good quality bandeau from Wacoal since I badly need it for the upcoming Christmas celebration for my cowgirl costume.
I have been suffering from dry and flaky skin especially my legs and I've read good things about the Body shop body butters so I went ahead and got one. Among all the scents there, I only liked the Shea butter one since its scent is not as overwhelming as the other body butters.
This pink purse was a freebie because I bought a whole  of bunch stuff. I actually like this pink number for those hectic errand days that I just need to bring my purse and keys and head out the door. It has a lot of compartment for money and cards and this would also be perfect for storing receipts.
I got three Revlon Color Stay nail polishes (from L to R) in Indigo Night, Midnight, and Stormy Night. I can see a theme going on here, a lot of Night shades.
I also just ran out of mascara. I picked up this Maybelline the falsies volume express mascara. I heard good reviews about this product from a lot of beauty gurus in youtube so I'm excited to try this out.
I was running low on my nude lipstick so I got this Revlon one. Its a darker nude which is perfect for me because it won't make me look like I have concealer lips.
I got a matte top coat from Etude House and they gave me a free pomegranate face mask which I am so excited to try out.
I also got a nude lip liner from Etude House to use in conjunction with my new Nude lipstick.
I got razors the Schick ones with 3 blades and I also got those colorful tiny razors from watsons.
I got this purple nail polish remover from Caronia which smells like lavenders.
The mall was having offers on body butters and I could not pass it up. These body butters smells so so so good and they are tiny, perfect for travelling.
I saw these clutches and I was not able to resist buying them for myself especially the color blocking one. It would make the perfect pop of color to any boring outfit.
