Another Holiday Haul 2012

I was out shopping over the couple for weeks for Christmas presents when I got a little carried away and bought some things for myself. Well, for justification I thought that most of the things are on offer anyway and I really need some of these things that I bought. So Justified? I think it is!hehe

I have been looking for a bandeau for quite sometime now and all I see are those cheap ones that are used on top of a bra. I decided to invest on a good quality bandeau from Wacoal since I badly need it for the upcoming Christmas celebration for my cowgirl costume.
I have been suffering from dry and flaky skin especially my legs and I've read good things about the Body shop body butters so I went ahead and got one. Among all the scents there, I only liked the Shea butter one since its scent is not as overwhelming as the other body butters.
This pink purse was a freebie because I bought a whole  of bunch stuff. I actually like this pink number for those hectic errand days that I just need to bring my purse and keys and head out the door. It has a lot of compartment for money and cards and this would also be perfect for storing receipts.
I got three Revlon Color Stay nail polishes (from L to R) in Indigo Night, Midnight, and Stormy Night. I can see a theme going on here, a lot of Night shades.
I also just ran out of mascara. I picked up this Maybelline the falsies volume express mascara. I heard good reviews about this product from a lot of beauty gurus in youtube so I'm excited to try this out.
I was running low on my nude lipstick so I got this Revlon one. Its a darker nude which is perfect for me because it won't make me look like I have concealer lips.
I got a matte top coat from Etude House and they gave me a free pomegranate face mask which I am so excited to try out.
I also got a nude lip liner from Etude House to use in conjunction with my new Nude lipstick.
I got razors the Schick ones with 3 blades and I also got those colorful tiny razors from watsons.
I got this purple nail polish remover from Caronia which smells like lavenders.
The mall was having offers on body butters and I could not pass it up. These body butters smells so so so good and they are tiny, perfect for travelling.
I saw these clutches and I was not able to resist buying them for myself especially the color blocking one. It would make the perfect pop of color to any boring outfit.

HAUL: Fashion, Jewelries and more!

Me and my friend Mia, went on an early Holiday shopping for gifts and little trinkets that we need for the upcoming Christmas. However, we could not resist buying things for ourselves. So here are the things that I got from various shopping trips this October 2012.

Skirt Jumper - P240
Bag - P350
We liked the jumper and bag so much that we both bought it, but in different colors.
As you can see, I went spike and studs crazy with my jewelry purchases. They were really inexpensive. It was no more than 200 pesos per item.
I also bought a pack of these Velcro hair grips. The whole pack was for 30 pesos and it is really useful in keeping hair off your face when putting on makeup in the mornings. It doesn't leave dents on the hair unlike hair ties.
I have also re-stocked my toiletries essentials because they were on a buy one take one offer.
Pinkie Swear BB foundation in 02 -  P299
 Nivea Anti-Perspirant - P179
Watson's Warm Vanilla Sugar body lotion - P109

I'm definitely happy about my purchases and I'm excited to try the Pinkie Swear BB foundation. Expect  a review on the foundation soon.

September 2012 Collective Haul

Before I was on my spending ban with beauty products, I had accumulated quite a bit skincare products that I have not hauled and reviewed. So I'll just do this collective haul and mini review for all the things that I purchased for the month of September 2012.
I went to Watsons and got a lot of sheet masks, my favorite are those pastel colored masks from the beauty buffet. I also got some Watsons sheet mask in tomato and cucumber to try out. I also got Cleteque spot treatment because I had a huge spot on my forehead at that time that I really need to get rid off. The product was just okay but I can't say yet that it is my favorite spot corrector. The other stuff I got are tissues, cotton pads, watsons oil blotting sheet and wax.
I also got this whitening peel off mask that is pretty interesting. I wanted to try a peel off mask for those days that I feel my skin needs major exfoliation and this was the only peel off mask I found. The mask was easy to apply and it has a clear color, but oh boy! it surely was a pain to remove. Literally it hurts so bad when its time to remove it and it looks like I'm peeling a layer of skin which is quite fascinating and gruesome at the same time. It did leave my skin soft and smooth afterwards which I like. Oh the pain we girls have to endure for beauty!
Maybeline crayon liner
This was on one of those stands near the till and I could not resist picking one up. A girl can never have to many black eyeliner. This liner was smooth and easy to apply but I found that it does smudge on me. As for the claim for waterproof, smudge proof and long lasting, it did not do it for me. It is a good liner for the lids but I can't use this for my waterline.
I picked up this daily scrub because the last time I went for my facial appointment I asked the girl that did my facial for a good daily facial exfoliator and she suggested neutrogena. So far I like it, I use it every other day because I don't want to over exfoliate my skin since I am also using the peel off mask twice a week.
I was browsing the home section of "Handy Man" store and I found this candle which smelled amazing. This candle smell like fresh grass and it is so relaxing. This is perfect for those lazy days at home and especially the upcoming holiday season.
I was so happy that when I was browsing at the SM cosmetics section they were again carrying the LA girl cosmetics. I instantly got a back-up of my favorite concealer since I was already rationing my old one for special occasions. I also picked up a back-up of my ELF flat top kabuki brush since my old one is literally falling apart and I also got a white eyeliner for Everbilena.
I also got a dress, white belt and a couple of beanie. I decided to copy Jen from clothesencounters, she always wear her favorite black beanie.
I was also running low on books to read so I picked up these books by Veronica Roth. I've heard great review about these books and it has a dystopian theme like the Hunger Games Trilogy that I loved.

It may be awhile before I can go shopping again since I'm on my spending ban, but I am looking forward to upcoming holidays so I could shop for gifts. Hopefully my spending ban would be over by then. So until next time!!!
