I've grown up watching anime

You may not know this but, I'm an avid anime fan. I have been since I was 10. My brother got me hooked on it. I remember, it all started from watching Dragon Ball Z, Sailormoon, Ghost fighters and finally to robots like Gundam Wing. I always thought that as I get older, I would grow out of my anime fascination but, I did not. I’m now 26 and I’m still hooked on it, dare I say that I’m even more obsessed with them now.

Now, my brother and I would spend our nights after work and Sunday afternoon catching-up on our latest anime and manga finds. We would coop ourselves up in our room and do nothing but stare at our laptops. We would even do anime marathon on Holidays such as Christmas and the New Years.  Anime became our bonding moment and we siblings are closer than ever.

Anime is fun and very entertaining that’s why people like them especially the kids. Parents however, may be apprehensive because of the mature and violent content that some anime series have. I think parental supervision are really needed for kids under the age of 15. There a lot of good anime which are perfect for kids so parents don’t ban anime in general.

Current Anime and Manga I’m following

Anime
Naruto Shipuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.
he only way to escape is to 'clear' the game. Death in game means actual 'death' ----

The ten thousand who have logged onto the as of yet mysterious game 'Sword Art Online' using their Nerve Gear have been forced into this perilous death game and are trapped inside.

Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'.
He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game ---- 'Aincrad'.

To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying?

Manga

The story revolves around a young girl named Kyouko who went with her childhood friend, Shou, to Tokyo to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. Despite of supporting him, she overhears him dismissing her as boring wallflower. Furious, Kyouko vows to get her revenge to defeat him by entering the entertainment world.

Mana is an ordinary high school student who somehow travels through time to the Sengoku Jidai (the Warring States Period) and encounters Uesugi Masatora, one of the generals. He decides to protect her, while his rival Takeda Shingen targets her. With Mana knowing the outcome of this war, will he change the future?
