2013 New Year Resolutions and Projects

It is that time of the year again when we reminisce about all the things we did in the past year and look forward and make resolutions for new year.  In the year 2012, I made 12 new year resolutions and I think I did okay in keeping them. I manage to stick to about half of my resolutions. This year what I will do is to categories my resolutions so that it would easier for me to remember and hopefully stick to.

Beauty Resolutions
  1. Always remove my make-up at night.
  2. Never ever skip on my night skincare routine.
  3. Have a facial every month.
  4. Go on a spending ban with makeup and basically just using-up my makeup stash.
Health Resolutions
  1. Try to eat healthier. I can't do much exercise because of my heart condition so I just need to watch what I eat.
  2. Get enough sleep.
Resolutions in General
  1. Save save save... I'm in the middle of acquiring my first ever real property and I need to save up money to build my dream house.
  2. Travel more whether its local or international destinations.
  3. Bond with family and friends.
  4. Spend more time with my boyfriend.

I also have projects that I want to undertake this new year and they are:

I want to update my vision board. My vision is really a big help in getting me to focus on my goals. Since I always see it, it gives me motivation to work hard. So far I have accomplished most of the things I posted on my board and I look forward to accomplishing more.

I also want to organize my bags and purses. I think I may need to downsize because my purse hooks are getting abit crowded *well really crowded* and I'm not using som of the bags there so I may need to give some of them away.

Finally, I want to finish planning my dream house. I'm currently loving this house design. Its simple, sophisticated, and quite modern.

I hope I get to accomplish all of these things and stick to my new years resolutions this 2013. I can't believe that 2012 is now practically over and 2013 is right around the corner but I'm happy that I get to start anew again. To end, I would like to say, thank you 2012 and I'm looking forward to a positive and fruitful 2013.

What I got for Christmas 2012

Sitting by the Christmas tree excited to open some presents.
Got a new turquoise satchel bag from my favorite cousin Monster.
The bag was also stuffed with candies, cookies and chocolates. The treats were presents from my other cousin, Monster' s sister Ate Love and baby Lia.
Got a fresh towel from my mom, she always give us things that we can use around the house.
Got the pink blouse from my Auntie.
Sting gave me an IPod Nano as my Christmas and Anniversary gift.
received this voucher for a Swedish massage at Royal Chateau Spa from my supervisor.

I got this Christmas cupcakes from my friend Mia and she baked these herself. They were delicious and I kinda don't want to eat it at first because it was so cute but, it would be such a waste to not eat it.
Finally, got this exact jacket from my brother since he knows that I' m going to Korea next year and I don' t have any thick jacket in my wardrobe.

I'm not in any means bragging, but I just want to document what I got and show my appreciation to the people who gave  these gifts. I love all of the gifts and I'm gonna treasure and make use of them. So to the people who gave me those gifts, I just want to say thank you for your generosity.

7th Year Anniversary Celebration with Sting

Last December 20th, Sting and I celebrated our 7th year together. We knew each other since we were about 5 or 6 y.o I'm not really sure but we go way way back. I'm happy that we are still together and I hope we continue to be happy in the future.

We went to Countryside Steakhouse for dinner and we had such a nice time. The place has this cozy vibe and there were not a lot of people there at the time so we felt like we had the place all to ourselves. We talked for hours, ate good food, exchanged gifts and laughed at our silly jokes. We were like old friends catching up.

 Cowboy Style Steak
Roast Beef with mash potato on the side
The food was delicious. We had a full course meal and I think that we had ordered a bit too much.  After dinner I feel like my tummy was going to burst.he he But I definitely love the food and the place.
Sting had a lot of fun remembering and guessing when and were the pictures were taken. He wants to receive another one next year,* pats myself on back*. he he I did good if I do say so myself.
At first he thought that's all he got, but when he read the card he had this huge grin on his face because I said that I'm gonna take him shopping for a new watch and dinner after. He was so cute!
 Hmmm what could it be?
He got me an Ipod nano 6th generation. I really love it! He knew how I love listening to music when I'm alone and doing shopping and he decided to get me a new Ipod. I can also use the Ipod as my new fashionable hot pink wrist watch. I really love this present.

DBP Childrens Christmas Party 2012

DBP is hosting Children's party every year for the employees kiddies 12 years old and below.  This year I get to bring my nephew Reren to the party. The DBP Cagayan de Oro employees have this club where the employees contribute monthly for hosting such activities. For the Christmas party the club will provide the food, entertainment, and gifts for the children.

Me and Reren at the lobby waiting for the party to start.
Kids ready to play another game.
Well I don't know what Reren was trying to do here. I just think he was just running around having fun on his own. He can't really understand the rules of the games yet since he is only 2 years old.
We did manage to win some prizes. We got these cool shades and some bubbles too.
Face painting time. Reren made a request to big brother, he said "make Reren Pirate".
The result? an eye patch and a mustache.he he I also got a pink butterfly on my cheek because Reren wanted me to have my face painted also.
This green butterfly on Alex's cheek is also pretty.
Reren pirate Arrrrgggghhh! He got so many compliments on his mustache. ha ha
Also spotted this cutie baby girl staring at Reren's painted face.he he
Took a picture with clown magician and this little dove. I think the dove and Reren are having a stare down.
Its gift time!
Who would have thought the pirate wanted to become a doctor.
Reren giving me a heart check-up.
Posted our pics on Facebook to show Reren's mom how much fun we had.
